Cherish was modeled with oil based clay and cast using the ancient Italian method of indirect casting. This method allows for additional castings of the sculptor's model. Cherish is a tender, classic moment between mother and child juxtaposed with clean, elegant lines inspired by the Art Deco era of France in the early 1900s.
